Today, January 1st 2022, during theNew Year’s Angelus which was held at 12, Pope Francis dedicated a few words to the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella who mentioned him yesterday evening, December 31, 2021, in the course of his last year-end address, having now finished the last year of mandate president. During the Angelus, Pope Francis, after referring to the fear that many people feel towards the future and to others “weighed down by the social situation, by personal problems, by the dangers of the ecological crisis, by injustices and by planetary economic imbalances” and having recited the prayer, he wished a good year to all and all.
